This week, I'm grateful for have a house to live in. There are some people out there who have lost there homes and sit on the street begging for spare change so he can grab a bite to eat. I have a home, a comfortable bed, and friends next door, and I sometimes see the very people who have the polar opposite of what I do, I feel sorry for those who's homes are light enough to carry on their backs (A.K.A: a cardboard box) and can barely get any decent food.

This week I'm glad that I have lots of fun books to read. Since I'm a reviewer, I get loads more books, and most of them are ones I'm quite happy to read again. One of my favourite book series is "The 39 Clues", all the books in that series are filled with action and danger that I just LOVE to read. I'm hoping to get another book from this series soon, so I can't wait until then!

This week I am grateful for being old enough to play paintball. On Sunday the 25th, or yesterday, we went out to a place called hinterland adventures, not too far from Hamilton, and we got to play with paintball guns for an hour or so. There were two courses we were allowed to go on, one was in this gully in the forest. There were lots of trees, barrels, walls and piles of broken bits of tree to hide behind. The other one was in an area which had much more walls, this course was called "The Speed ball Course. In this one, we had to try and capture the other team's flag (Which we also did in the gully) and there was this orange ball tied to a post, and I had to get to the post, which was fenced off so I was mostly safe, and I then had to lower to ball and untie it, then throw it into the enemy's side of the course, which meant that the other team lost 40 points when we captured their flag and the whistle was blown. I had loads of fun, and once I even got shot on the visor of my helmet with a paintball! After the game we went to Hell's Pizza for some munchies, and I even got to play a few rounds of pinball! I then got to play some SSX Tricky (a Playstation snowboarding game) with one of the paintball player's son, and that was when it all ended. It was one of the best days of my life, for I have never, and I mean never, played paintball before in my life. Hopefully I'll be able to go back, because now I want to get back out there again someday!

This week, I'm grateful for having a family, the picture on the left is a picture of my little brother, my Mum and my Dad at Raglan beach. I grateful for having them because there are kids out there who don't have families, and they have to end up living in little orphanages that can quite easily run out of money, and next thing the kids know they are starving, their clothes are all filthy, and they are extremely sick. So you could say that I'm one of the lucky ones!

This week, I'm grateful for having cats. I've had them around me since I was a little kid, I was even there when they were born. They've been good friends, every night I leave the window open a bit, and they will come and go to sleep on my bed with me! They always cheer me up up when I've had a rough time, and even when their feeding time has come and gone, and I've given them a handful of cat biscuits each, they will still come yowling for more! I know that the end of their lives is getting nearer by the day, but I will just have to make every second of them being there count.

This week I am grateful for being home schooled, this way I am able to learn at my own pace. The reason I'm glad of this is that there are other kids out there who are stuck in a stuffy classroom, being told what to learn, how to learn and when to learn, but me and the other home schooled kids have more freedom, the picture opposite is literally my school, I have more opportunities to go out and do fun stuff, while other kids only get out of school on Field Trips, weekends and after school hours. God bless home schooling!
